Bee Happy Strip Serving dish is made from hundreds of pieces of yellow and black glass being cut in equal width strips and two different lengths.  Hours of cutting and then a long time to place each piece of glass on it's side to create the grid pattern.   
 
This piece is fused surrounded by kiln dams so the glass remains 1cm deep.
 
One final firing to slump it into the dish shape.
