This glass pendant has been handmade by layering several different opal and transparent glass in blues, robins egg, coral and clear glass.  A few small pieces with irid coating to give a little shimmer as the pendant moves.  The initial firing in my kiln to melt together to create the depth you see in this piece.
 
I then cut off the edges with a saw and then grind them further to create the pendant shape.  A hole is drilled for a chain or suede thong and then fire polished to create the softened edges.
 
The pendant is sold gift boxed with a complimentary suede thong.
